Design Sketch
Best practice in design is to sketch your ideas even in as rough a form possible. These pages never see the light of day as far as the client is concerned but, like a sculptor each revised idea gets honed into a thing of beauty that eventually gets presented to the client. Sometimes this is a process of subtraction, stripping away the superfluous until what remains is a logo that reflects everything the design brief required.
The same can be said for any process that requires creative input in your business. Brainstorming allows us to write down, even the absurd, which may be a rejected idea but write it down anyway because the absurd still has a place in creativity. It might be an extreme but it shows an extent of thinking. After all one man’s absurd might be anothers quirky. To edit through sketching is a fast and immediate way to flesh out ideas. This is a creative process often not found in your average workforce. Design is a specialist skill that will yield tangiable assets for your business. It has value and gives value because you customers want to see a professional presentation on every aspect of your business. Branding conveys trust and maybe that’s the little extra that gets your customer over the line.
