A to B – Simple … So you’d think!

I recently had cause to check bus times from Omagh to Belfast. I can’t imagine the logic of either Ulsterbus’s ‘Journey Planner’ or indeed their timetable page. If you click on timetables your are offered 451 PDFs that you have to download in order to read. Most timetables work on a simple table basis which is ideal for interweb publishing. This is clearly something designed by people who didn’t engage with their customers. And the real laughable thing that it defaults to include Bus and ‘Train’ times. This is something of a raw nerve for people in these parts as choo choos were not deemed worthy as a mode of conveyance for the West of the Bann pleps.
